Stray Rescue of Saint Louis: T-shirt Design Contest '15

This is my submission which made it into the voting process of the Stray Rescue of Saint Louis' T-shirt Design Competition in 2016.

My design did not win last year and it did not end up getting printed.  It was last years staff favorite so I was told I could resubmit it again this year for a second chance.  It had to go through the voting process with the judges again and it will still have to get the most votes to win.  So far It has made it as one of the top 5 finalist  for the 2016 t-shirt design contest.  If you still like this design please go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JPMXSSS and vote for it again this year.

The rescue I volunteer at had a design competition online for new designs for their upcoming 2015 spring/summer t-shirts to promote the rescue.  I made it into the top 14 designs for that were up for voting at the Stray Rescue of Saint Louis Facebook page.  The competition has since ended and I was not the official winner of the contest but mine was the staff favorite design so they are printing mine also.
I would also like to show that this design could work on any t-shirt color that they rescue may want to use.  Since this design is for their summer design then they may want to use a color lighter than black.  Truely this design could be printed on any shirt color.  All that would need to be changed would be edited is the color of the shadow, outline, and text.
After designing this for the competition I thought how to would look on a zip up hoodie.  I'd have to say that I like it on either.
Here's an idea to add to the shirts I designed that could go on the back of the shirts or even on the sleeve.
This is the winning design from the 2015 Stray Rescue of Saint Louis' T-shirt design contest.
I am not sure who the winning artist is.  Again this is not my design, this is the winning design from the contest.  I just thought viewers may want to see what the winning design was.

Post from Stray Rescue of St. Louis' Facebook page about the winning design from March 21, 2015:

"Thank you to everyone who participated in our Spring t-shirt design contest both the artists and the over 2200 people who voted! And now without further ado...the winner with over 500 votes is....#8!!!

In addition to the winner receiving t shirts with their design on it and bragging rights, the top 3 design creators will each receive a Stray Rescue goody bag!!

Don't be bummed if your favorite design didn't win. There's still a chance it may be on a future SR t shirt!"
I've taken other nice photos of different dogs that I think would make a great on t-shirts for the rescue.  So to go along with the original Bob Seger (left) design, I have also put together one with my buddy Caldwell (center) and my newest buddy King Kong (right).  I've also changed the background in each design slightly.
